I've been following this thread for some time now. I feel for you RaiderZ, I hope that you get this resolved.
You'd think that they'd have someone from head office watching this forum closely, after all, if they keep us, their customers happy then surely that can only do them favours in the long run! Word of mouth speaks volumes, especially when those speaking are (were
) enthusiastic! Shocking to hear that ARUK are quite happy to just deny you with some BS about fault codes on a problem that could never create a code!!!
Please keep us updated with any responses, i hope for their sake that someone gets back to you.
If by some amazing chance that anyone from ARUK actually does read this thread, they could spend a very small amount of money (by comparison) fixing your problem. Make a huge press "look how good we are" deal about it. It could be twisted in to the perfect marketing ploy for the sake of a faulty injector (aside from the weeks of pain and frustration of course).
RaiderZ is happy, we're happy, other customers are happy, potential new customers have a re-think about that 3 series purchase later this year and the new 159 replacement i.e. the giulia has a perfect launch. AR comes back the way we all wanted it to... Turns out its the best car in world, best mpg across all engine sizes, best performance across all engine sizes, most practical, with build quality to match RR and reliability to match toyota/nissan!
I want to be optimistic about the future of AR but things like this just put yet another nail in the coffin! I really want all their new (9) cars to be amazing... i love the brand and what it stands for (or used to stand for). Now with every visit here I just feel less and less inclined to 'hope' and my gut feeling is that, as with all this generation of alfas (with a few exceptions) it just wont be up their with the german rivals, nor will their attitude to customers or any service they provide.
C'mon AR, show us that your are the car maker we always wanted!
