I have an issue which I would be grateful if anyone has any experience/advice to pass on.
I have a 159 1.9 8v 2010. The dashboard died on me last week then came back a few yards later. Then today I was driving home (in the rain) when my dashboard died again. The external and internal lights, stereo and all dials stopped. The car, however, continued running. I tried to restart the car at the next traffic lights but it would not respond once the engine was off. Luckily I retained enough speed to mount the kerb and not cause too much of a hindrance.
Bizarrely, the hazard lights then worked at the roadside, as did the wipers and stereo. The headlights and engine did not however and the key could not be removed. There was only a faint clicking when pressing the start button. I disconnected the battery which made no difference. After half an hour or so, when waiting for the RAC, I tried to start it again and it started and all was fine.
The RAC checked the battery and alternator when I got home and there were no issues there.
I just ran ECUscan and got the following errors:
P0504 - brake switch
P0101 - air flow meter signal
P0111 - intake air temp (2)
U1706 - CAN network (NCM -NFR)
U0426-Invalid data from vehicle immo ctrl mod
