One more thing..do you think I should go with 18" or 19" on my black 3.2 Q4 berlina that is lowered 35 mm?
to be honest, think that 19"s look better, but since you have more lowered car than I am, be aware.
at the end, the potential rubbing point are tires, not the rims (if you use normal width tires for certain rim width, not that pimp-my-Golf-2-ride-"style"-crap)
so, if you follow properly the rolling circumference on one side and you correct ET value when using wider rims, you should be OK
my summer rims are 8.5J with ET30 and was no problem. OEM 8J rims are with ET41. for 8.5J ET values between 30 and 35 mm should be ok
