QTronic slipping gears, general strange behaviour
Bit of background, car is an '08 2.4 Ti with Qtronic on 111,000 miles.
Gearchange had been a bit lumpy and by that I mean it seemed to be hanging on to the gears a bit too long and what I can only describe as a lot of 'engine braking' on changes up and down.
I did an ATF flush about 4 months ago and the oil was very murky. About 3.2 litres came out and I replaced with the exact amount. Did the same again a few weeks later because as I understand it's not a full flush. Ever since it's been 'ok' but not spectacular.
I do about 500 miles per week commuting and have been off for about 10 days. Car has only covered about 60 miles in that time. Car gets up to temp ok but there seems to be gear slippage.
When it's stone cold and going down a hill at 30-40mph it engages the clutch completely and just coasts if I have my foot off the accelerator. Never did that before.
Also it seems to slip the clutch a lot on changes but also in gear when I put the foot down. Nothing massively major but it seems to have a mind of its own. No unusual noises or clunks, grinding etc. just this slippage issue.
Anyone any ideas? I'm planning another flush and maybe reset the learn procedure which I've read about but just hoping someone else has had this before.
