Same in Australia...no difference in tax, just more petrol costs. Currently paying about 70p a litre for 98.

Are you sure you can't emigrate?

Yes so much better they ended production early 159 is screwed together better but the 156 will wipe the floor with it on a set of corners and a straight line just because of the weight penalty but it won't half rattle in conparison Again in the looks the newer gen cars are far superior. Horses for courses my boy

I agree with Si on many points. 3.2 is the way forward for that car. There are some big draw backs on that engine over the busso and that is namely chain stretch and huge cost of putting it right. People whinge about yhe cost of doing a belt on the V6 busso. The cost of a chain is far more a almost as frequent. 60k is doing well. Loz sees many in with less miles and cost are 4 figures to do. TBI is a good engine too btw as mentioned.

BMW E12 M535i, JC racing diff, Gaz coilover, Powerflex.
Alfa 156 GTA, Q2, Super sprint, CF2, EQ, KW coilovers, Eibach rollbars, Powerflex.
Alfa Mito QV , BMC filter.

Joss, if you pull this GTA facelift off, it's going to be the Don, best of everything IMO
