939 model important seasonal tip
939 model is of course 159, Brera and Spider.
This time of the year when there are a lot of leaves about I pay particular attention to the leaves which find their way under the bonnet above the scuttle. The scuttle drain on the drivers side does have a habit of collecting leaves and debris blocking it up. If you look carefully through the plastic cover you will not doubt see the scuttle full of water. What I do when washing the car is to lift the scuttle rubber bumper strip, pull out the trim clips which then allows the plastic cover to be lifted just enough so you can get a jet of water down the drain clearing the debris, you will not need a lot and will soon hear water coming out under the wheel arch. Job done.
Someone said to me, "so whats so special about an Alfa Romeo then?" I told him, "If you have to ask, you wont understand".
Driving Brera S 2.2, wife drives 939 Spider 2.2 and there is a 1972 Spider 2000 S2 in the garage for fun days.
