I've been a lurker on here for a while but I'm here now and thought this might be a worthwhile post.
About a year ago, I was about 20 mins into a 3.5h journey and suddenly the warnings started.
Bing, Bing, Bing. Traction Control, ABS, Hill Assist. All gone. OK, I think. ABS Sensor maybe.
Then boom, power loss, major power loss. Uh oh....
Fuel gauge also dropped to zero and the fuel light started flashing.
Now I'm thinking, Injector or maybe even turbo failure. Balls.
Anyway, I kept going for a bit on Irish N-Roads (like UK A-Roads) and was able to maintain speed, if not accelerate much at all. Long inclines were a struggle. Accelerating was a major struggle.
I eventually got home and brought it to my mechanic.
Loose connection to an injector (#3, fwiw). Rectified with a cable tie to hold it in place.
How the myriad of errors with the traction control systems and fuel gauge relate to an injector connection, I have no idea.
Anyway, Thought I'd use that little story to say hello and that the frightening vision of an Alfa throwing a bunch of errors can sometimes be solved with a 20p cable tie
