Brera 2.2 pulley noise

Hi wonder if anyone can help, there seems to be a pulley noise from my engine, at first my local mechanic seemed to think it could be the power steering pulley. However he has had the covers off and cannot seem to find anything wrong with any of the pulleys. Should be said he has also changed the timing chain recently, and I would assume he would have noticed a problem with the crank pulley at the time.

The noise is audible inside the drive when driving, and is worst under load i.e. accelerating but dies down when the not under load if that makes sense.

Just a bit concerned about something dropping off or snapping !

Don't know if this is the same, but mine has what sounds like belt noise, only really noticeable when cold & when accelerating in low gears - & easily drowned out by the exhaust note. I've asked a couple of places but been told there's nothing amiss. I read on here somewhere that there's an idler pully on one of the aux belts that can become noisy but haven't looked any further into it.

Hi guys, I'm also having the same issue as above. Anyone have any ideas on the cause yet?

First try some drive belt condioner on the aux belt. If it comes back within a week change the belt after cleaning each pulley. Failing that get another pair of ears to look at it. A good tech should find it first visit. A lot of garages don't stock belt dressing spray/conditioner. Hope this helps, I'm not familliar with your motors quirks, but it sounds a common prob.
