So i just passed 25000 Miles in my 07 2,4 saloon..Ever since i bought it with 62.000 Miles on the clock, she seems to have this "abnormality":
When on bumby roads at slow speeds (10-20 Mph), there´s often a clonking noise from what seems to be right rear wheelsuspension.
When doing 50ish towing my caravan, theres a (for driver), on/off shaking feeling in the car, with it shaking for perhaps 0,3-0,5 sec. & then normal for perhaps 1-1˝ sec. No matter if pulling or just freewheeling.
When accelerating hard with caravan in 1. Gear (asr almost activating) (It weighs approx. 1000 Kg), the car seems to suddenly torque-steer like crazy, as if something "gives way", but as soon as i go off-throttle, everything is back to normal.
When doing >80 Mph, the entire car seems to judder & wander around on the road (Often do 300 Miles on the Autobahn, so perfectly legal...When doing 120 Mph, the car is shaking all over the place & must be "positivly steered" all the time.
There seems to be an incostinent wandering/pulling when breaking hard, but unless dragracing with caravan, nothing under hard accel. even car has tuningbox, no EGR/DPF so a bit beyond standard.
No abnormal tyrewear on any of the 4 wheels
Doesnt feel any play in any direction with rear end off the ground & pull/pushing the best i can in any direction on the wheels...
Since i bought her 13 months ago i have replaced:
Coil/springs on all 4 wheels.
KWM Upper / lower suspension arm on front. (Powerflex on lower)
Inner trackrod (outer are 100% ok)
Rear right wheelbearing, no play in left.
Drop link, all 4 wheels
Rear top suspension mounts
2 different sets of summertires, 1 set of wintertires on 2 diff. sets of alloys.
Tracking set to 0.
