after this amount of time im amazed the excess oil hasn't creeped past the piston seals.
I was only expecting to see some in the omega chamber.
whats verdict on piston is that u/s also or good condition but no guarantee what it might do after a few thousand miles after being subjected to enough pressure to bend that rod.
whats the natural route for the oil to have got there, over pressure in sump and expelled via breather, overfilled the oil separator (if it has one)and into the turbo inlet then upto the inlet manifold and fill closest cylinder.
any chance its pushed any oil seals out on the crank, I remember hearing about it years ago after overfill but modern cars ?
also in pic looks like cyl 4 saw a tiny bit of oil judging by colour of piston tops.
also cylinder 2 ad 3 look very clean ? ive seen a few pics on here of the jtd pistons and I thought most or some had the injector spray pattern marking the piston face with most likely a heat pattern, is this what you guys see more of , clear pistons or spray pattern on pistons.
