Power Steering Reservoir Cap Gasket

I was checking my power steering fluid level this morning and found the reservoir cap gasket is broken. Part of the gasket is missing, please see attached image. Should I worry about the missing rubber pieces contaminate the power steering fluid and damage the pump? Do I need to change the power steering fluid because of this?

I don't think so...outer edge of gasket rim is damaged.
