A bit stiff in the morning... gears that is!
I've read a few threads on this forum about stiff gear changes when cold, but I'm wanting to know how stiff is normal? I've only had the Brera since June, so this is the first cold weather we've had since I bought her, but it does seem to be getting very difficult to engage first gear to pull the car out of the garage in the morning. All the gears are stiff until she's warmed up, but 1st & reverse are particularly bad, & bearing in mind it's only October, I'm a bit worried what it will be like when we're getting minus temperatures!
After I've engaged a gear, it seems to go in again without a problem & once the car has driven for a few minutes everything seems fine again, which makes me think it may just be a 'characteristic' of the car.
I did have the gearbox rebuilt back in August - all new bearings & filled with Titan Sintofluid so I'm not thinking there's a problem with the oil. I know the Redline one seems to get better reviews on here, & I may try changing to this if it gets any worse, but first I just want to gauge how bad other people's cars are.
