So I am thinking about moving away from Performance Friction Pads due to the clang you get on low speed manoeuvring. Don't get me wrong they stop you like nothing else but as long as I can get close to it with a set that are not subject to the clang, I am happy to try another set.
So what I want is a pad that fits better than the PF but gives the same braking co-efficient or near it.
Performance Friction Carbon Metallic: 054 -0.68 (cant seem to qualify it anywhere)
EBC YellowStuff 4000 Series (1793 Formula) Street, Race & Track Brake Pads: 0.6
EBC RedStuff 3000 Series Ceramic Street & Race Brake Pads: 0.5
EBC BlueStuff NDX 5000 Series Race Pads: ??? listed as better than Yellowstuff but cant see them listed as available for the 159 yet.
Ideally, I would like a pad make/model that I can use at all 4 corners as I have had the rear end try and step out a few times under heavy braking given the amount of bite the front has vs the standard pads on the rear.
Any options, ideas? I would ideally like to be able to pick up a full set for less than £200 which is why I have excluded Ferrodo DS2500's, also they only have a coefficient of 0.42
