Drivers side wheel squeaking?
Been a while since i've been on! Been a hectic 3 months, with moving down to Milton Keynes and getting a new job. However I have a 45 minute drive to Banbury every day, and by the time I get there..at stop start (sub 10mph) speeds, there is an irritating squeak coming from the drivers side.
It is rarely there when the car has been left overnight, and only tends to appear after 15-50 mins worth of driving...anything above 10mph and you can no longer hear it (i assume it's still happening but due to speed the pitch becomes higher than the human ear)
It can be made to go, by steering left slightly.
I cannot feel any play in the wheel bearing tho! Any ideas? I tried wiggling it last night, but it seemed fairly solid to me. Im 90% sure it's the front wheel, not the rears...i slackened the handbrake cable off a bit, will slacken it off a bit more before i go home and see what occurs,
Oh she's done a smidge over 82,000 miles btw.
