I guess you are referring to my post. If so, the problem isn't that bad as I originally thought.
The link you provided shows the stock dust cover kit. The main problem with mine was that I was missing the white plastic bit that was used to attach the bump stop to the strut bearing. So I had to get a new set of dust covers.
Other than that, there's another plastic bit that fits over the shock absorber body and is used to stop the dust cover from slipping too low. This bit won't fit over the B6s, as they are thicker than the stock shocks. You can use a zip tie to hold the cover in place or, as other folks on this forum suggested, you can just leave the cover dangling - shouldn't be a problem.
