leaking steering rack

Hi all
Called the AA out monday morning to a puddle of fluid at the nearside wheel, turns out it's the steering rack seals gone,it gets taken to my local garage who look at it and say they'd get back to me,last night(tuesday)they call to say cause of holidays they're going to struggle to do it for possibly a couple of weeks,no use to me,panic ensues so called stuart at Mclennans garage in loanhead, luckily he says no probs bring it in,i explain that i have the AA breakdown repair service, no probs again, had to email him my service recipt and happy days i get a txt from the AA saying repair has been sanctioned,so many thanks to Stuart for taking it at short notice and to anyone wondering if the AA repair service is worth it i'd have to say yes.My last alfa a 156 1.9 jtd had a new radiator, power steering pipes and a clutch and dmf(had to pay 300 as it only covers up to 500)so all in all worth it.
Just thought i'd share my story.
