As Ned has explained the standard lower wishbone rear bush has so much flex in it as standard that even with the geometry set perfectly when the car is stationary once moving and with the wheels under load both forward and reverse when braking the geometry with be altering hugely and any sort of acceleration will cause them to toe out and wear the tyre inner edges.
I had just the lower rear bush changed to the poly bush and 4 wheel alignment done when my car was at Autolusso for a clutch as at the time I couldnt stretch to the full lower and adjustable upper arm package and it has made a great improvement, car feels much better to drive and the front tyres are wearing evenly.
With the car jacked up there is no side to side play that was there before, the old bushes were in good condition so now the car has the same geometry settings when it is moving as it had when they were set on a ramp.
I should also add that I havnt noticed any increase in vibration or road noise.
