159 3.2 Hard to start
I have a manual 3.2 159 (JTS/ti/Q4).
A bit of a weird problem...
This problem ONLY happens after the car is sitting between 3 and 5 hours (no more and no less). When I start the car it takes quite a lot of time for the engine to fire. The battery/starter is cranking at the full/normal speed but it doesn't fire for between 5 to 8 seconds. Then the car starts fine and no issue whatsoever.
If it's less than 3 hours. No problem starts instantly.
If its more than 5 hours like 8 hours or overnight (completely cold again) - no problem starts immediately...
I used to see this in older carburetor and early ECU cars when the hot water in the engine would rise to the top of the engine and after a couple of hours can be real hard to start.
I have had my car for 3 years and this has never been a problem before. Just started doing this.
