Selling up for 2 wheels
So it's with unhappy fingers and a saddened heart that I have decided to sell my 159. Truly one of the best cars I have personally driven. Unfortunately, due to the fact i really only do short runs in it, I can't warrant the expense and I know I would never be happy unless a V6 was to come along at a great price!
With the left over money from the sale I am hoping to buy myself a motorbike, and pay off a few bills that have been outstanding for a short while.
I've owned the car for approx 18 months and it's been great, constantly being told how beautiful it is by both friends and randomers.
I haven't advertised it yet, purely cause I haven't settled on a price for it. Was hoping for around £5500, but is that a bit optimistic? Any pointers would be great!
Here's the details:
Work done to it: EGR blanked, new de-swirled Inlet manifold.
Other Features: heated seats, e/w, dual zone climate control/Air con, folding rear seats, 2 new rear tyres at 104k, x4 sport shocks that haven't been fitted yet (these can be sold seperately), 2 keys, belt and pump changed at 84 - 86k miles (can't remember exactly, but I have it noted down somewhere)
I've had no real issues with it at all, due to short journeys the DPF has regenned quite a bit, this may be cored out before sale as I have a friend who is handy with a welder.
Other than that, it's a solid, beautiful car, that can shift when needed.
