I put RS 3's on last umm, Nov? I've done about 12K on them, grip seems to improve once the tread has worn down some, I agree with Symons 12mm. Initial wear was quite dramatic, but has stabilised now. I have switched front to back and believe I should get 16K or maybe a bit more, so will be due to change again around Nov. There is very little road noise, something which was a pain with RS2's.
All tyres are a compromise between wear/noise/cost/grip and I believe that RS 3's are about as close as you can get to the best option.
Someone said to me, "so whats so special about an Alfa Romeo then?" I told him, "If you have to ask, you wont understand".
Driving Brera S 2.2, wife drives 939 Spider 2.2 and there is a 1972 Spider 2000 S2 in the garage for fun days.
