True, but my GT was always wearing even, and the Giuletta is not wearing the innards either, 156 and 159 seem to be worse for this from my personal experience
156 is exactly the same setup as your GT.
The issue was always excessive toe-out.
The setup was revised to 0mm front toe in 1999, but many places ignored that and used the pre'99 2mm toe-out setup instead.
They also arrived from the factory with the toe miles out, so each new owner was reliant on how keen the PDI person on his car was.
My 156 Selespeed was setup properly from the start and never had an issue.
A friend had an early '99 Selespeed and got through three sets of front tyres in under 6-months, all through to flapping cords on the inner edge, all replaced under warranty until they changed the setup. No problems after.
159/Brera have extremely wobbly bushes as mentioned, so will never be right! But they will still wear better with the toe reduced.
