p0238 error Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit High
After just shelling out almost £2500 for a new dmf and full gear box rebuild im getting a p0238 error and limp mode. Its a P0238 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit High
I know this could be sickly turbo veins and very expensive, is there anything else I can check first?
Would it be likely that during the gearbox replacment that any of the turbo vacuum pipes etc could have been damaged? They look to be on the other side?
I've cleaned the EGR valve and MAP sensor both were in a terrible state, I'm thinking of replacing the Map sensor as it was made up with tar and I struggled to clean it properly.
If it is the turbo would the actuator arm still move in limp mode as I struggle to get the boost to increase.
Where is the turbo boost pressure sensor?
Im thinking of having a terraclean done to clean out the turbo viens. I know there's a divided camp on its benefit to the engine. But I have a swirl valve issue and new timing belt due to go on and a turbo clean as well is too much to bear.
Thanks for any help
