Problem after BG inlet manifold clean process
Guys would appreciate any advise & suggestions to help resolve an issue that has occurred after I had the BG Inlet manifold clean procedure carried out on my 159 2.4 (2007).
As a note: In addition to the BG clean the only other thing he did was disconnect the negative terminal on battery as he mig welded one of the nuts on the cross member that holds the undertray that was spinning.
Had the procedure carried out on Monday and was very impressed with the difference in the amount of crap before & after the process in the butterfly and inlet manifold. Drove the car 30 miles home and felt like it was smoother and responsive ( could have been placebo effect). Got within a mile from home and the car cut out with engine management light on. Restarted ok and managed to get home the last mile.
Put it on multiecuscan and it showed P0268 & P0265 relating to injector 3 & 2.
I also noted that the boot wouldn't open with key fob or the button on the ceiling cluster & a car with padlock symbol showed on the dash for a while. After 10 minutes or so the boot opened ok and symbol disappeared.
The garage that did the clean came and picked the car up and have said that after clearing the codes and driving the car it repeats the same by cutting out and storing p0268 & p0265 codes.
While they are looking at it I was wondering what you knowledgable gentlemen think.
Feels like a coincidence that 2 injectors have issues after this work and feels like an electrical thing to my untrained mind.
Appreciate your views.
