Any recommendations on upgraded turbo ???
Turbo you say !
If you want the best then you want a custom Garrett GTB 2265 VKLR which is a full 360 bearing with a both water and oil fed CHRA, have a look on the link above. This turbo gives unbelievable effortless power when coupled with Gus's exhaust, re map and the FMIC upgrade.
With it being a full 360 bearing the spool up is noticeably so much quicker than the standard journal bearing CHRA which is instantly evident in the throttle response.
I have experienced the evolution of the turbo's from the standard GTB2056 fitted to the 210 bhp through to the GTB2265 VKLR which Clogz now runs on his Brera. Along with all the mods and the work done by Gus the progression is out standing.
As you can see I have started down this route myself on my own 159 and the results are like for like stage for stage. As anyone who has been in my car will tell you its not lacking in power front by any means and its effortless, but after witnessing the difference I was astounded and there was just no way I could not have a GTB2265. I have now Have a GTB2265 waiting to fit as and when I get the time and opportunity.
If your going down this route you want the FMIC along with one of Gus's remaps and his exhausts, its a very complete package that works very very well together.
As for price you'd have to speak to Gus's as I do all my own fitting and fabrication.
