Alfa 159 TBI A/C not so cold
I believe my A/C unit is not working as it should: when I bought the car, about 3 weeks ago, the A/C was working intermittently, and wouldn't output really cold air. Suspecting loss of freon, I went to recharge it. Seems it was already full (420 mg, and the correct level is 430 mg). Anyway, I changed the freon, and now at least is works all the time. Could the new oil injected with the freon change restore something ?
Now, the coldest air temperature at the vents is about 12-13 deg. C. It feels warmer than my old Alfa 156 2.0 JTS A/C, or other cars I have experienced.
Does anybody have any idea if this is normal ? If not, any idea where I should start looking for problems ?
Thanks in advance !
