Entertaining thread though.
Maybe it's all part of the subterfuge and a deal is going on by PM as we speak!
Yeah, interesting, sounds like a nice motor, well looked after , though some of the selling points need updating...brakes are now 30k old and tyres over 10k, so very average for them. One online valuation company puts trade at £4.8 and private at £6.5 (part ex at £5.4)
I love some of the dramatics and contradictions!
"you will have to pose as my 'mate' who's been interested in the car for some time and always wanted to know when it came up for sale " " I am sticking my neck out somewhat I need to cover my ass"
.....….."my company have no particular 'rule' about employees buying their cars and then selling them on"
."I never intended to make any money out of this...but a few hundred quid in my direction would keep me happy'
The price the company want is non-negotiable ...... "I will walk away from any negotiations and leave it all to them" ..
"I'm sticking my neck out" ...." You will deal directly with my company, regarding the finances, pay them directly for the car and pay me directly also."
"lthough I did consider buying it outright and selling it on 'privately' I neither have the time, inclination, nor space to do this,"...."This is a private sale"
And the price is..
Think I need a b*tchy cat icon....meow
