Help Loud noise on cold start (warm weather) for a 2.4 JTDM Q4

Can you guys help me out on this? It's driving me nuts and the stealer doesn't know either.. just keeps throwing random guesses that could make him some more cash...

I have a knocking-like sound from a cold engine start, it lasts for 2 to 5 minutes then it gradualy dissapears (the knock become less often until they are no more).

This is a link so you can hear it : http://1drv.ms/1irKgwB (clutch depressed at around 20s mark).

Here is all I could document about it:

Clutch on/off : with the clutch on, the noise is still there, but much attenuated.

It's mostly noticeable around idle speed.

Can't seem to relate it to outside temperature/humidity or other factors (it goes during the winter as well as during the summer).

With a warm engine start, there is no such sound.

Sometimes, even with a cold engine (outside overnight), the engine starts fine and there is no such noise.

Clutch, clutch plate and flywheel are new (2000km). The noise was there before and persists after the change.

Please help?

Any clues?

Have you had injectors checked? Stick a triple dose of injector cleaner in. Hard to tell from video, but does it sound like misfiring?

maybe diesel knock until the engine is hot.Injector cleaner or overhauled injectors, if the spray pattern is wrong its more noticeable with a cold engine.Ive seen it on a 159 and gt.

Now that you mention it, it might sound like a misfire, but it's not that loud though... I'll try with those injector cleaner additives with a 1/3 tank of fuel for a stronger concentration (I won't beak anything will I?)

Cheers for the advice, and if it works free virtual beer on me!
