The 2.4 comes with Ti 19"... i do like the alloys where the 3.2 comes with 18" multispokes...
For once the money isnt a problem, and looking at the fuel economy there is only about 10mpg difference between them 3.2 roughly 29mpg and the 2.4 around 30ish so the papers say.
Take a looky:
Alfa Romeo Brera 2.4 JTDM 3dr QTRONIC AUTOMATIC (2008) in Black | Veloces of London
as i say visually they look very alike... id maybe rather a gun metal silver with red interior to black
And that Q-tronic with paddleshift is a sexy looking bit of kit...
I guess a decent test drive would warrent both but one of these will be mine for sure.
I think the sound of the V6 would turn more heads
But correctly the 2.4 can be tuned up to 260bhp also improving the efficiency, or as far as i know the it can with the manual... that may screw the autobox, i dont know...
I'll be keeping the 156TI i have as its worth less than a bag of nachos... might break it up for parts at a later date or fix the small issues it has with buckled wheels etc and use it as a work horse. If i get the 3.2v6
I am leaning toward the V6 though... i just did fancy some lazy driving with an auto... after my TI was such a hard ride it was tiring at times. hmmmmm and im used to a heavy gearbox manual
Blimey is such a hard line choosing between the 2 Breras... ive been looking for the past 4 months and 2 come up at once Grrrrr
