what did you not like about the powerflex set up?
I did all the research on this site and decided it would be a money saver.
I had new upper wishbones within two years of owning the car, replaced in 2010 I think. They were done under the Alfa warranty by Piccadilly Knaresborough, they said they would be claiming well over £400 for the repair.
Early this year they started playing up again. I did not fancy paying that amount every few years so went for the Powerflex option, one payment of £500.
These bushes, are I believe, the third generation that do not squeal, MINE SQUEAL LIKE A LITTER OF PIGS. They do tighten up the suspension and steering though.
Due to their unforgiving and harsh nature they rattle the glovebox, fuse box and everything else that has either a hinge or a fastening inside the cabin. I cannot imagine what the long term use of the bushes will be on the car.
But some people swear by them, personal choice I suppose.
As I said before, not my best decision.
