159 Ti alloy refurb options??

19" Ti alloys on my Stromboli Grey 159 are in a little need of some TLC! I was originally going to refurb them in the original silver colour, however...... I am now considering anthracite? I have a picture in my head and think this may look very nice? (Potentially not though!) Does anybody have a pic of such a colour combo or thoughts on the matter! Thanks!

Do it mate. I have the same colour combo now having had a similar experience, so look at my pics if you need some inspiration! I can email you some more pics if it helps. Toby

This is the prob the best pic, although doesn't really do the colour combo justice. They don't look this dark in normal daylight.

Yep. I have 17" brera alloys on my 159 - had them done in Anthracite by The Wheel Specialist in Wolverhampton. Excellent finish & service!

On resale value a buyer is going to be interested in two colours..
Grey or Silver make the car look original as possible retains value

I wouldn't dream of turning gorgeous sparkling silver 19s to dull, boring and dirty looking grey.
Makes no sense to me .

Unless you really can't stand getting the bucket and sponge out every month then perhaps the permanent grey and dirty look is for you.
You may as well just have hub caps, sell the 19s, and make some cash .

My dad has a G Collezione with the 'dirty' wheels and it looks bloody awful.

Anthracite wheels when clean stand out well with direct light on them

Black chrome is also a good option, about the same maximum brightness as the original but greater contrast

I think darker wheels look good against a brighter paintwork colour. I much prefer the contrast between the stock silver alloys and the grey bodywork. They set each other off nicely. Light grey matched with dark grey is all a bit too... grey for me. Each to their own, mind. Whatever you like is the right thing to do. And bugger the resale, I say.
