It's true what Top Gear say about Alfa's: yes you have little niggles from time to time, but the process of fixing it makes it feel like your special Alfa - whether you've made major changes or just picked out some better headlights, refurbed/re-sprayed the alloys, replaced the timing chain, power steering fluid, powerflexed your bushes, painted your rusty wheel nuts, or fitted a new exhaust. But when it's all working, it's gleaming and your banging through b-roads or spotting people spotting your car in town, it's so worth it.
I've had my 2.2 Brera for 2 years and I still love it, still look back at it every time I park it. The only thought I ever have about changing it is if I could afford to run the V6...
