It's easy to change a fuse, right?
Wrong! At least that is my experience today.
This morning I got in my 159 SW for the drive to work and after starting the engine went to 'unfold' the door mirrors and nothing happened. Tried the 'computer reset' (engine off, key out etc.) but no change. Then also noticed the outside air temperature was not working and the total miles was flashing. Whilst driving to work also noticed that I have no control of the windows from the drivers door - all other doors normal - or the adjustable door mirrors. So decided it must be a fuse to the drivers door controller.
I've just spent the past hour or so trying to find the fuse for the 'drivers door control unit' with zero success! I can find everything else - for example, the 'Right front power window/passenger's door control unit' is F48, but nowhere, upon nowhere, can I find a fuse listed for the 'Driver's door control unit'.
Anybody got any ideas - I think I have been through just about every fuse on the vehicle, and I also don't care much for driving around with the door mirrors folded!
Don't listen to what I say, listen to what I mean ..............
