If you floor it in 4th at 2000rpm if the boost gauge goes over 1.25bar I'd say it's a 220 version
Guess what i will be doing today then? lol ( apart from burning loads of juice )

Wonder if the software could be upgraded by alfa?

The original question was regarding turbos and most people don't seem to let the engine idle for 1 or 2 mins before switching off to lubricate/cool the bearing , unless of course they've just been running locally and low speed/revs. I agree with others that manufacturers service advised intervals are rubbish , mine gets best oil every 7/8 thousand at the max . When you consider the repair costs of turbos or engines then even 70 (doing your own) oil/filter change at 5000 miles is cheap insurance.

18TBI is not bad engine but it is not Busso, twinCam or TvinSpark. Nothing AlfaTrue inside.
As a owner you should double watch everything especially coolant and oil. Any leakage creates tremendous problem since engine itself has designed without conventional gaskets used.
Everything around service.
