My poor 147 got deaded a couple of weeks ago by a lorry on the autobahn
My search for a new alfa didn't take particularly long - two test drives, a really friendly dealer, a great deal and that was that!
All being well, she'll be ready for collection next Friday. Number plates arrived today too, so getting proper itchy to get my hands on the car now!
Hopefully the pics below have uploaded as planned!
The number plate will be exist as long as the car is registered under that number.
As you'll see in my profil pic, I had the same (but with my initials) for the 147. Costs another 20euro to have whatever numbed you want (some lettering combos are illegal if they have anything to do with Germany's past - SS is a big no no!
Car (and spares) prices here are ridiculous. Although I'm really happy with the deal I got here. It negated the need for me to come back over to the uk to shop for a rhd car.
The car is a 1.9 jtdm Eco from July 2009 in fairly basic turismo trim, but with xenons and has done 51000km. It had it's required servicing so far too.
I paid 10900 euro. It was priced at exactly that. Last month it was 11900. As part of the deal I got the dealer to put on 4 new summer tyres (Bridgestone @ €110 per corner), oil and filter service, a new cambelt and water pump (which is due at 4 years despite the low mileage) and a 2 year TÜV (mot). The car also has a set of winter tyres on fairly ugly alloys, which it's currently wearing.
Very happy with the deal, and can't wait to get my hands on it.
