Hello and greetings from Tallinn! Monte Carlo Blue 3.2 Q4 Brera changed owner today and it feels great, my first Alfa too! Few small questions came to my mind instantly:
1) The last 1-2 cm of clutch pedal seems to return strangely, like with a small delay, but quite firmly still. So when releasing the clutch, it comes almost all the way up normally, then pauses for a sec, and returns last few cm then. Does not seem to affect on how the clutch works. Something wrong with the pedal spring or an Alfa feature?
2) The shifter knob feels loose, it wobbles around a bit. Does not seem to affect anything really either, but feels strange. Normal?
I'll try to attach a pic here too, sorry it's so shady
The car was actually brought from Germany without me seeing it beforehand and according to the pictures online I was quite doubtful about the color. The thing was that I wanted the V6 Q4 and the selection was not like buying an Audi (nothing wrong with Audis but you know, the German Audi market is humungus). Aanyhuu, while the process went onward it came clear that I had to put the exterior color as secondary prio and focus on having the best possible individual. After inspecting several cars during the winter with great help from local Alfa rep, this one was found with solid history and careful previous owner.
Any doubts about the color vanished instantly when I saw the car for the first time with my own eyes. It's way more deeper than in pictures and fits amazingly well with the dark panorama roof and bright alloys. It also creates stunning contrast with the overall grayness which is so dominating this time of year. After 2 days ownership I have to say I'm really blown away about the fact how special this car feels (and sounds). I've had several cars in my life, regular and hobby, but never felt this excited before. I truly hope it lasts!
