Hmmm Timingbelt 1750 Tbi question

My car is a 2010 with 9500 miles on clock, I don't believe the belt is changed but. I know the past engines been really picky about timing belts but..really now? Already?

Feels a bit unnecessary already, anyone with experience of these engines? Water pump issues?

Special tools?
