Rolling vibration and slow speed creaking 159

I have a high mileage 159 Ltd Edition, lovely car, 2nd 159, but in last couple of months have had gradually worsening problem which might be two problems. It started as a background vibration at 50mph+, which has worsened and is now very noticeable. Wheel doesn't shake except slightly under braking. At very low speed, a metallic 'creak' has also got worse, which doesn't seem to persist when the speed does rise. Ideas are wheel bearing, it seems to be front passenger side, or something steering/drive related?

Any ideas?

sounds like the bearing, and it sounds knackered haha. investigate it soon or you'll be looking for a new stub axle soon

Jack up the car so that the suspect wheel is off the ground. Place one hand lightly on the suspension coil spring and spin the road wheel with the other hand. You will feel the vibrations from any bad bearing through the spring.
This tip really works, and best of all requires no dismantling.
It is the road spring which transmits the vibrations into the bodyshell which you hear as a drone.
Obviously you will then thoroughly check the brakes!
