Alfa Romeo 159

Starting problem...

Hi everyone, hope someone can help.

Recently returned from holiday to find my 159 sluggish when turning over but it was still starting. Monday it failed to start, and rather than jump start, decided to treat it to a new battery as it still had the original one (its a 2007). Tuesday it started beautifully but failed when I wanted to leave work. Jump started to get home and started Wednesday beautifully but failed again when I wanted to get at work and it wont start. Its now completely dead (seemingly) on the car park and unlocked. Any ideas?

Sounds like the alternator is not charging. You should be able to lock it manually with the key blade inside the key block. If its not the alternator you have a electrical drain somewhere I.e boot light not going out.
