Deformed oil drain plug, cannot untighten it [SOLVED]
Hi folks, I recently got myself an AR 159 1.9 jtdm and I thought I'd change the oil right away since it looks it hasn't been changed a while.
The problem: the drain plug is so tight I couldn't move it with ring spanner. It is completely dry and rusty, so I sprayed some WD40 over it but that didn't help. When I tried again and again and I pulled as hard as I could, the spanner slipped and I deformed the bolt head. Now the spanner slips even more easily so I stopped trying to prevent further damage.
What to do now? I sprayed WD40 a couple more times. I am getting a new spanner because the old spanner is deformed as well. Perhaps the spanner has been damaged all along, too bad I didn't check it before I used it. Anyway, I still need to fix the plug head somehow before I would try again to untighten it. Any ideas how to do that?
