3.2 v6 torque and power stats

Anyone have the torque and power curve of the 3.2 v6? I switched from my tbi to a 3.2 and don.t feel the same pulking power unless you wind the revs right up even though it is claimed that 90% of the torque is available from 1800 rpm?

The very long gearing masks the torque. There've been a few RR days here in Blighty & there are some graphs on here somewhere and V6 always seems to produce more than standard.

The 2.2 is always c20bhp under though......

makes sense, the 3.2 makes say 240lb/ft * 0.9 = 216lb/ft at 1800rpm

alfa never changed the performance data for the later 1750s which make say 250lb/ft, and 240lb/ft at 1800rpm

also factoring in the a weight increase of 7%:

then factor in the longer gearing, approx 8%:

240/216*1.07*1.08 = approx 28% more pull at 1800rpm in the TBi

but you get the benefit of the sound of a V6 at 7000 rpm
