Well I had it delivered on Friday at 4pm to my office. What can I say, it was turining heads before I got into the car park.
Metallic Black is excellent and highlights the cars curves even better than flat black. It simply looks, sounds and feels completly different to any previous car I have owned. If I had to use one word only to describe it (which by the way is impossible) it would be QUALITY. The car just feels like it should have been £40K.
Although the note from the 2.2 is somewhat muffled it still sings when you hit 5000+ rpm and lets you know that power is there if required. The Bose speaker option is a must and sounds significantly better than the standard system, not too much base but a more full rounded sound. The floyd sounds superb in the cabin.
Seats are very comfortable and luckly mine does not have the rocking problem. The Blue & Me option is excellent and that sexy female voice can ask me for options any time she likes
, seriously though it works well with the phone and has the wow factor when you demo it to onlookers.
Ride is not too firm, more forgiving but still very planted when you increase the speed. In this respect the Brera feels and handles like a true GT.
I will have pictures soon and some more follow up info, it is suffice to say that I am very very pleased with it. The Brera has lived up to my expectations. It has also changed the opinions of many of my office staff regarding Alfa Romeo.
Sexy, sleek, understated and just oozes quality.
Have to go now and get back in
