Brera S vers non S 2.2JTS

I drove the Spider yesterday (2.2 JTS) for the first time since getting my Brera and the engine seems less powerful than the Brera (2.2 JTS Proline). I also noticed that on the same journey the fuel consumption on the Brera S was slightly heavier than the Spider.

So does anyone know, is it a different map on the Proline 2.2 than on the regular 2.2 JTS?

The Spider will be about 60kgs heavier and the Brera S will have more rolling resistance and heavier tyres to accelerate up to speed - and there is no guarantee the trip computers were calibrated the same.
How much difference were you seeing?

I have the standard 2.2 Brera and had a 2.2 Spider at the same time. The Spider was noticeably slower than the Brera due, I believe, entirely to the additional weight. At the end of the day, the Spider is designed for posing and feeling the wind in your hair. I'm too old to pose and I want to hang on to what hair I have left so it had to go.

As for comparisons in fuel consumption, the trip computers are little more than a toy, and not necessarily accurate, the one on my Brera is a good 10% optimistic where consumption is concerned.

Brera 2.2 SV "S"

What are all the differences between the standard 2.2 and 2.2S? I can think of:

Anthracite Wheels
Exhaust back boxes
Hollow anti roll bars & Aluminium uprights (as with all MY08 Breras onwards)
Eibach springs/Custom bilstein dampers
New Seats/red stitched leather interior
S badges
Brembo brake callipers
Prodrive mudflaps

Any weight savings or anything I've missed?

Out of interest, does anyone know the difference in weight the first 3 make? I've just acquired some S springs/dampers on the cheap but can't afford to get them fitted until after xmas. I'm wondering if the car'll sit lower than a standard S because it's a heavier 07 plate without the hollow anti-roll bars an Al uprights...
