New keys for the 159/Brera/Spider

Hello Jay,

maybe this is of help..

Here are some photos of my key end.

There is an imperfection as you can see in the second photo.

I'm not sure if you can smooth it out or not.

I know, it looks huge in close-up.

Anyway, it's for you to decide..

Cheers, Jan

Compared to the state mine are now in, I reckon I could live with a replacement that's got those imperfections if I was happy it could withstand further wear and tear.

My spare key is new and therefore spotless...Only hurdle is postage from South Africa. Maybe we can make a plan, I'll get info on shipping companies from here. PM me!

My spare is immaculate save for one slight imperfection where it's started to peel away.

We are not a million miles away Jay (I'm in Bury St Edmunds) so could easily meet up I guess?

any imperfections will increase the time it takes to sort the mould etc as it has to be cast, fixed re-cast etc. Also, it introduces more chance of problems with the final fit.

Speenvark's key sounds promising and we are in discussions now so might just have a winner.

Ok. I could sand the imperfection out with some fine wet & dry. It really is minor. Just shout if you can't work something out with Speenvark

I have a totally unused key...in the UK.

Sitting on a shelf. it's immaculate. I'm willing to donate (Although I can't figure out how to detach the blade)

Don't worry about who is on or off the list. Once we actually sort the mould etc we will establish how many we need to make

The latest moulding is under way so we should have a decent mould pretty soon.
