I agree, I reckon they should be 20k so that means my first service was late but my car is now saying I need a service in 800m or so. Think I'll get a full service, cambelt and waterpump change just as the car is new to me and I'd like to have piece of mind.
I got my car back from Alfa dealer yesterday and the diagnosis is:
Have engine checked symbol = faulty lamda sensor (being paid for by the dealer I bought it from as that was the deal).
knocking from NSF = upper wishbone had too much play, this (hopefully) will be covered by the warranty I got with the car).
They gave the car a good look over and the only other issues with the car were: slightly rusty outer casing for back box of exhaust and slightly rusted front discs which they said is probably from the car being stood before I bought it.
So all in all, could have been a lot worse and now I'm looking forward enjoying (relatively) stress free motoring!
