Superb holiday post - I envy you and can trace much of that route from holidays back in the 70s and 80s. Great country, great people, great scenery/food/wine - oh, and great cars too! Enjoy the memories....
Is yours Monte Carlo, then? And how did you find a blue one with the biscuit coloured leather? I love that colour interior, and is one reason why I won't buy what everyone tells me I should - a red Alfa! The black leather just makes it too dark, and black with black and a black hood is quite funereal!
My friendly Accountant, who's a bit of a petrolhead (Porsche Cayman/BMW 320), reckons it has to be the 3.2 engine with four-wheel drive to make it interesting. Others say try to get the 1.75 turbo four-pot for its mix of torque and economy, but the biggest choice out there is the 2.2 Limited Edition - it's so well specced. Wondering if the satnav is worth seeking out....but reckon I'll buy in the next month or so when prices for cabrios are at their lowest.
Any other advice, as an owner, much appreciated.
