I'm so lucky that I recently bought a 159 SW 2.4 JTDm from 2007. I't was at 75.000km when I got it and now I just passed 80.000km mark. So the car have not been driving many kilometers in its lifetime.
I have a problem with starting the car. It will not start approx. 1 out of 6 times. The engine will just turn but there will be no "ignition" at all.
I can keep trying without any luck. If I wait a couple of minutes, then it will most of the times start again without any problem.
It sometimes also have a very noisy / metallic sound from the engine when cold starting, but just a second or two. When driving the car I feel that it sometimes seems to loose power, and if I do motorbreaking with higher rpms it seems that sometime the engine will once in a while "jam" - like a cylinder fires at the wrong time and adds some extra breaking power for just a split second.
I just got myself an OBD-II cable and used multiecuscan to test the car.
There was one error in the ECU which I attached. I also attached one image with version information, and one showing a graph of the first 4 cyllinders Injector Compensation. I fear that I might have a problem on cylinder two with either the injector or maybe a piston ring
Do anyone have some good tips on what to do. Where do I start ? And do my ECU need updating, it seems to be untouched since manufacturing.
Thank you very much,
