Okay hit 4000 kms this week.
Here's a summary:
Oil consumtion: 1/3 litre
Average fuel consumption: Motorways: 9 l/100km = 26 mpg (140kph)
Urban: 13 l/100km = 18 mpg
Driver's seat started to "rock" again.
Brake's squealing in hot weather.
(Booked in for June to fix both.)
Slight orange peel paint.
Stereo: Bass a bit lacking
Speed volume control has big step at 140kph
(my cruising speed, so it keeps switching
making it unusable)
Badly positioned cruise controls
Wierd gear ratio between 2nd & 3rd.
(Hill climb route on the way to work had two
2nd gear corners in quick succession in the 147.
It's now a 3rd followed by a 2nd.)
Selecting reverse is too near 1st.
(You can pop it out of reverse and re-select
reverse instead of 1st if your not paying
Blue&Me only speaks/understand French.
Now the Cool Stuff:
Automatic folding wing mirrors: Fold when you remote lock.
Red LED lighting of centre console: Looks cool at night, and you can
Paint job more "robust": Less chipping than 147.
Managed to give people a lift in the back!
Not much wind noise when the windows are down.
(Wash-wipe water doesn't spray in either!)
Auto Hill holder brake: surprisingly useful reminds me of a Suburu!
Big fuel tank: non-stop Motorway fun!
Rear passenger quarter light de-mister.
Parking radar (Never had it before.)
Turning circle: SO much easier to park than a 147!
Chiller box: No more luke warm Coke!
Oil temp gauge. Major diff between oil & water.
(No thrashing before 90 degs!)
No more seatbelt warning bell!!!
Th...th..that's all folks!
EDIT: PS Still chuffed to bit!
