Just thought I'd introduce my new bella, seeing how there's not too many around yet to enjoy on this board.
Had a 147 two years ago but had to get rid of that due to getting a company car. Now two years on I've finally been able to handpick/order my own company car (with my previous ones I had no choice) and guess what, I ended up back with Alfa (always knew I would)
Some info about the car:
Nero Oceano w/ beige leather interior
17" 'Sport' 7x2 alloys on 225/50/17 Pirelli P Zero Rosso
1.9 JTDm 8v 115 HP (detuned for fiscal reasons from 120 HP)
0-100 in 11 secs
280 Nm @ 2000 RPM
It's a Progression spec with the pack, plus some extra's. Toys-wise that means I ended up with:
- dualzone airco
- cruise control
- alloys (upgraded to 17")
- multifunctional steering wheel
- visibility pack II
- MP3 reader for CDs
- foldable rear seats
- adjustable front seats (inclination)
- minor stuff like fogs, allround electric windows, radio/CD, etc.
She's been great so far, though the engine doesn't have the same spark in this 1500+ kg car as it did in my 147. I was expecting that though and am still happy enough with the performance. My only real complaint so far is the wind noise around the driver's side door, probably due to a bad window sealing (passenger side is dead quiet). Not going to go into the positives, the list is too long
. Fantastic handling and beautiful controls (steering, throttle, brakes, gearbox) are the main standouts though.
Wy anyone would choose a 318d or A4 1.9 TDI when they could have something that looks, rides and most importantly feels like this is beyond me.
