Bush (suspension!) wonderment
is it too early on a Tuesday for innuendo? Anyway.....
my suspension is starting to make the clonking noise a bit like what the old 156 used to get up to, so its sounding like time that the suspension bushes were given an overhaul.
for the price of the upper arms I will probably just replace them with factory, plus I don't want the hassle of the adjustableness of the powerflex type stuff, so will go factory.
Bottom arm though is a bit different and is confusing me a little.
We all know the bottom arms cost more legs than a well hung donkey and at least one vital organ each, so rebush seems like a better way to go, but you can only get hold of the rear bushes? i.e. the big one that goes in the cast housing and probably hides under the ARB and will be a ***** to get off....
how come you cant get hold of the front ones? It would seem you can get the factory centre ones that mount the leg (uww eerrr matron!) which is fine enough.
so people, what is the deal with the front suspension mount and rebushing them?
