Thumbs Up Best thing since sliced bread?

Today I was amazed by, and therefore instantly bought "License Assist" from 2direct Limited.

Ok, so we all drive fast cars well (most of the time) but on occasion we may or may not (officer) get drawn into a spirited run or playful interchange with another road user. As we are all very sensible, this is always controlled, thought out and as safe as possible, but on occasion it could, should the wrong circumstances ensue result in a loss of license which would be heart breaking to say the least.

The thought of having to sell my car and take the train does not appeal, and while I would like to be able to use this as a method of adhering to every speed limit in the land, I somehow think that a digression or two is inevitable.

This "License Assist" is yet another insurance policy, but this one actually insures against the loss of license! so in the event I get banned, I will now receive 1500 per month of my ban in payment, which means I can actually employ someone to drive me around in my bella, and continue to work

How much does this madness cost?

For me? with 3 current points and a chequered past? 120 per year!

Why wouldn't you?

Hmmm, does look tempting. I have a speed awareness course coming up, so still have a clean license. The legal representation from DAS is appealing, as would give good backup if things went to court.

Like all insurance it seems expensive until the day you need it. Sounds like a bargain if they are genuine - any user reviews?

I wonder if it covers Scotland, as there are no courses available, you always get a fine and points if found or plead guilty.
